Ingredients
- 4 Salt & Sear™ strip steaks
- 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Cooking Instructions
- Combine all spices and olive oil to make a paste. Let stand for 1 hour.
- Rub paste on both sides of steaks. Cover with plastic wrap. Let stand at room temperature for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Place steaks on grill and cook until steaks reach internal temperature of 135°F for medium rare doneness as determined by internal meat thermometer.
- Remove steaks from grill and let stand for a few minutes before eating.
