Ingredients
- 5 lb Salt & Sear™ Ribeye Roast
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp Italian seasonings
Cooking Instructions
PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Let the roast come to room temperature.
- Cover the roast with melted butter using a brush.
- Mix garlic, salt, and Italian seasonings in a bowl and cover the roast with this mixture.
COOKING:
- Place the roast on the center rack in the oven and cook at 450°F for 15 minutes.
- Reduce the temperature to 325°F and continue roasting for about 20 minutes per pound or until desired doneness is reached using a digital thermometer:
- 110-115°F for rare
- 120-125°F for medium-rare to medium
- 130-135°F for well-done
RESTING:
- Transfer the roast to a cooling rack or cutting board, tent with foil, and let it rest for 15-30 minutes.
- Slice across the grain to serve.
