Ingredients
- 1 Salt & Sear™ Whole Sirloin tip Steak
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime or lemon juice
- 2 tbsp packed light brown sugar
CHILI CITRUS BUTTER:
- 1 stick salted butter
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp finely minced garlic
- Juice and zest of 1/2 a lime
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Cooking Instructions
- Marinate your Sirloin tip steak in evoo, soy sauce, and lime juice for at least an hour, or overnight in the fridge.
- Remove your steak from the marinade and rub with light brown sugar. Allow it to sit a bit while you pre heat your griddle.
- Pre-heat your griddle to medium heat.
- Drizzle griddle with olive oil and add your sirloin tip steak. Sear until cooked to your liking.
- Mix all citrus butter ingredients in a small pot and warm over low heat.
- Remove from griddle and allow the steak to rest before slicing, and serve on a platter with a ramekin of citrus butter for dunking and drizzling.
- Serve with fresh tortillas, chopped onions, seared peppers, crumbled Cojita cheese, salsa, and cilantro.
